What Will I Learn?
The syllabus covers the emergencies most likely to happen to a baby or a child, and what to do in the first few minutes:
- Child Choking
- Wounds and bleeding
- Minor injuries (cuts, burns, head and eye injuries)
- Assessment of a responsive and unresponsive baby
- AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
- Shock
Upon completion of the course candidates will receive an internationally recognized certificate valid for 2 years.
- Roles and responsibilities of a pediatric first aider
- CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) for Child/Infant
- Anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction)
- Seizures
- Broken Bones
- Sprains and strains

This Pediatric First Aid course is accredited by Dubai Corporation of Ambulance Services (DCAS), and certified by American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) equivalent to First Aid training by the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Resuscitation Council (ARC).
