What is Antenatal Classes / Prenatal Classes:
A helping hand to navigate yourself through pregnancy from the 3rd trimester to birth and the first time after delivery is something you need when you become an new mother. Our prenatal or antenatal class and training session is a great educational programme made to make you mentally fit for your pregnancy journey.
We provide comprehensive and well structured prenatal classes when you are pregnant.
We provide group antenatal classes and one-to-one antenatal classes at your home.
Group Antenatal classes are a great way to make friends and share your experiences with other parents who are expecting babies around the same time as you.
Group Classes: Our community midwife Hayley will be offering warm, intimate and evidence based group antenatal classes to pregnant women. We advise starting these classes from 20-28 weeks. We will answer all your questions and empower you to make decisions that best suit you and your family.
Classes will be limited to 6 couples; this is to ensure you get the personalised care you deserve.

- One to one, at home Antenatal Classes

Session 2 – Labour and Delivery

- Managing pain

- Perineum, tears and stitching
- The Placenta
Session 3 – Postnatal Period
- Birth to 72 hours

- Infant Feeding (Breast and bottle)
- Car Seat safety
Session 4 – 4th Trimester
- Immediately after birth until 12 weeks

- Baby adjusting to life outside the womb
- Baby growth and development
You can continue with our Postnatal care services if there are any complications or if you need a night nurse.
